The Pop Fop

Snobbery & Decay

Today I went down to Warwick, Rhode Island with my parents because my mom wanted to pick up some honey jars (she keeps bees to cultivate honey).  After this was done we decided to explore the area a bit.  We came to Rocky Point which used to a be a large amusement park.  Apparently I had been there as a kid with my dad but I couldn’t remember it.
It is now overgrown and abandoned, an strange landscape of primordial weeds and the ruins of family fun.  Here is an arch that greeted visitors to the park.
